Press Release — January, 2013.

The Association of Genetic Support of Australasia (AGSA) are new partners in several of HealthShare’s genetic disorder topic pages including Addison’s disease, Cystinuria, Fabry disease and Kabuki syndrome among others.

“AGSA is a unique organisation providing peer support and information for rare diseases (80% are genetic in origin). Our main aims are to increase education within the community and awareness of rare diseases and the many services available. Together with HealthShare, AGSA will deliver personalised, up-to-date information and provide a platform for further support,” said Dianne Petrie OAM, Director of AGSA.

Consumers can now visit HealthShare to ask their questions about these rare disorders and diseases, and receive credible information from the AGSA and Australian health practitioners.
