HealthShare has launched a range of creative ways for health practitioners to market themselves online.
The company has reported that practitioners who have a profile in HealthShare and answer two patient questions are likely to be placed on page one of Google for their practitioner type (e.g. Psychologist) and suburb.
The benefits of being on page one of Google are significant. Studies show that being on page one drives double the amount of traffic as being on page two. This graph shows the percentage of traffic by Google results. Numbers are based on a sample of 8,253,240 impressions across the Chikita advertising network in May, 2010.
